Among the latest gaming laptops that ASUS announced is the third iteration to the ROG Strix Scar and Hero edition — the Scar III and Hero III.
Introducing a new feature, the Keystone, it provides visual light and audio effect when plugged in either the Scar III and Hero III. This device also categorizes gaming profiles which differs on the color of the Keystone. Aside from that, it features a new ArmouryCrate 2.0, security via ASUS account request via the cloud and Shadowdrive which allows users to enable encrypted hidden partition for personal storage (It can be found on the My PC folder when the Keystone is plugged)
The Strix Scar III and Hero III come in two variants — Gunmetal Grey or Midnight Black with the following display configuration:
- 240Hz/3ms (15-inch variant)
- 144Hz/3ms (17-inch variant)
Not much information was revealed but based on the previous models, we expect that it will have the new NVIDIA GeForce graphics such as GTX 1660Ti or RTX 20XX series with a 9th-Gen Intel Core processor.
Aside from this, a new Strix laptop will be arriving in the country — the ROG Strix G. It sports a 15.6-inch 144Hz display, 9th-Gen Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GTX 1660ti (6GB GDDR5), 512GB SSD + 1TB HDD, and 8GB DDR4 of RAM.
