As for the price tag, they seem to be priced almost the same or even slightly lower than the equivalent Zenfone 2 configurations.

We’re still not sure as to when these affordable yet powerful tablets will arrive in the Philippines.

Anyway, we’ve gone ahead and got one unit from the US to review so stay tuned for that.

Is this better than Xiaomi’s MI PAD 7.9?

if this is priced lower than 11k, then it will go toe to toe with mi pad. what’s good is, its already 5.1 out of the box, but the battery is lower by more than half.

How about you guys source link this? Like, link to my site which broke the story of the $299 version? We also actually posted more than a week ago about the $199 Z580C in the US market also, but that’s our fault for not posting it was at Best Buy. However, source links?? That’s the ethical way of operating a website, didn’t you know?

To rabbitkun,

I still prefer a Win10 at 8″ w/ no need for physical keyboard. And the weight is just 295g instead of 580g for the tablet alone albeit with a newer processor. And it just cost US$299. I also like the 2 front speakers.

Hope that ASUS comes up with a Win10 at 8″ for this Z580CA model.

Other advantages: Full HD screen as against HD only screen. 64GB memory as compared to (I believe) 32GB memory.

Reading the specs, it seems to be wifi only for both models.
