The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) “load e-wallet” feature on its mobile banking app will no longer be available for GCash and Maya effectively on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

As announced today, they have clarified that you can still send/transfer funds/money through the “Transfer to other banks” feature via Instapay with a service charge amounting to PHP25 for GCash and Maya.
Although both BPI and GCash are part of the Ayala Company Group, BPI has its own e-wallet app which they call the “VYBE”.
For those who are unfamiliar with the VYBE, BPI introduced its e-wallet in 2022. With its capabilities, you may make rapid, safe, and cashless daily payments.
