BPI’s digital wallet VYBE has partnered with M Lhuillier to offer free cash-in transactions across more than 3,000 branches nationwide. According to BPI, the service aims to expand access to digital financial tools, especially in areas with limited banking services. BPI is expanding its barcode-based cash deposit service through Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. The service allows customers to deposit cash by generating a barcode through the BPI app and presenting it at participating stores. BPI said the feature will be available in more than 1,000 RRHI stores by the end of the year. BPI added that transactions are free of charge. To use the feature, customers need to open the BPI app, select “partner store transactions,” choose “deposit,” and enter the amount. The service also supports deposits to another BPI account.
