Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has partnered with Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. It lets customers to deposit money into BPI accounts through participating retail stores nationwide. According to BPI, the feature will be available in more than 1,000 RRHI stores nationwide by the end of the year. Using the BPI mobile app, customers can generate a barcode through the 'Partner store transactions' section under the More tab. Users can choose whether to deposit to their own account or another BPI account, enter the amount and present the generated barcode to a cashier at participating stores within one hour. BPI said customers can deposit up to PHP 15,000 per transaction and up to five times daily depending on store limits.
