BPI has expanded its Partner Store Services with Robinsons Retail Holdings Inc. (RRHI), allowing customers to withdraw cash for free and without a card by using the BPI app in selected RRHI stores nationwide. This move aims to make banking more accessible by placing withdrawal points inside stores that many Filipinos already visit daily.

To withdraw, customers only need to generate a barcode in the BPI app and present it at the store’s checkout counter. No ATM card is required. This service is currently available in over 300 RRHI stores, including Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, The Marketplace, Shopwise, No Brand, Robinsons Department Store, and Toys’R’Us. More stores will be added soon.
To generate a withdrawal barcode in the BPI app:
- Open the BPI app and log in.
- Tap More.
- Select Partner Store Transactions and tap Let’s Start.
- Choose the account you will withdraw from.
- Enter the amount you want to take out.
- Review your details and tap Confirm.
- A barcode will appear. You can save it or just keep it in the app.
To finish the withdrawal in-store:
- Go to any participating Robinsons Retail partner store.
- Tell the cashier that you want to withdraw using BPI.
- Show your barcode at the counter.
- The cashier will scan it and hand you your cash and a receipt.
BPI President and CEO TG Limcaoco said the partnership is meant to give customers convenience by allowing them to get cash while shopping, without needing to visit a bank branch or ATM.
Aside from withdrawals, RRHI stores also support account opening and product applications for BPI. Deposits will follow soon as the service expands to more locations.
According to Tin Tueres, Managing Director of RRHI’s Food Segment, the partnership aims to make banking part of everyday life by allowing customers to manage money where they already shop.
