Converge ICT is warning its customers about a fake promo that is circulating the web.

The fake promo claims to select 100 random Converge customers to answer a quick 9-question survey to “better understand our customers.” After the survey, the respondents will then get a chance to win an iPhone XS, Samsung Galaxy S10, or iPad Pro. While the prizes are free, customers are asked to shoulder the shipping cost.

I also received a fake promo from converge, it seemed legit but they’re asking to pay for service or shipping fee. The converge must do something about this and must strengthen their firewall. They should protect their customer’s data privacy.

I also received the same modus operandi. How are they able to access our account if Converge employee or staff is not involved? Just wondering.
