Coolpad CP12 Neo makes its debut

Coolpad has officially announced the CP12 Neo, an entry-level smartphone that combines affordability with noteworthy features. The device sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display, offering an HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. With a peak brightness of 450 nits, users can expect clear visuals even under bright conditions.

Under the hood, the CP12 Neo is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset, paired with up to 4GB of RAM. Storage options are generous, with configurations available up to 256GB, expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot. 

Photography enthusiasts will find a 13MP main camera on the rear, accompanied by a 0.08MP auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device features a 5MP front-facing camera housed within a waterdrop notch. 

The CP12 Neo runs on CoolOS, based on Android 14, ensuring a user-friendly experience with the latest software enhancements. A robust 5,000mAh battery powers the device, supporting 10W wired charging. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, and compass. 

Available in four color variants—Platinum Black, Dream Blue, Cherry Pink, and Space Gray—the Coolpad CP12 Neo offers a stylish choice for budget-conscious consumers. While pricing and availability details are yet to be announced, the device is expected to hit markets soon.
