The eCAV (Electronic Certified Academic Verification) system has been launched in the Philippines. The digital platform aims to streamline verification of academic documents.

Prior to this, Filipinos wanting to work or study abroad had to process records through several government agencies. With eCAV, the process is now strictly online and brings together various services under one platform.
This includes the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and Department of Education (DepEd). Applicants can now submit records like diplomas, transcripts, and more through a single website.
Users may also track their application status without having to visit different offices in person. eCAV officials claim that the new system will cut verification to only three working days.
The eCAV launch is part of the Marcos administration’s digitalization program that aims to modernize government services. It’s slated to benefit Filipinos seeking employment and education opportunities by simplifying a key requirement.
