Globe expands 5G Roaming services to more countries in Asia, Middle East
Globe expands its 5G roaming services to more countries in Asia and the Middle East.
In the first quarter of the year, Globe introduced 5G roaming services to Thailand and UAE. In the following weeks, the telco set to open its 5G services to visiting customers of CSL Hong Kong, Singtel of Singapore, and Ooredo of Kuwait. Additionally, Globe 5G roaming services will also be available in South Korea through SK Telecom, Qatar, and Kuwait via Ooredoo.
Globe roamers with 5G-powered smartphones may avail of Globe’s Roam Surf 399 and other Roam Surf promos with no additional charge.
“Apart from ensuring that our customers are able to rely on a service to keep them connected during these challenging times, our goal in getting the 5G service up in more countries is to make certain that when travel becomes more safe and less restricted, our Globe customers will be able to enjoy 5G in more countries worldwide,” said Coco Domingo, GLobe’s Vice President for Postpaid and International Business.
