Globe Group continues internet and health support amid rise of Covid cases

As COVID-19 cases start to rise up again in the country, Globe has announced that they are ready to provide support to the needs of their customers as tighter restrictions are enforced in Metro Manila and other areas.

Globe has announced that their Hotline Digital Assistant is available 24/7 to cater to self-service transactions and may be contacted through (02) 7-730-1000. Globe customers may also visit their official social media outlets for assistance.

Customers may also use the new GlobeOne app to register for prepaid promos, buy load, and redeem rewards. Broadband Postpaid customers meanwhile may access the official Globe At Home app to view and pay bills, upgrade plans, and book a technician visit. The company also says that technicians are ready within a 24-48 hours time frame.

GoWiFi, the public internet service of Globe is extending free and unlimited internet access in select hospitals nationwide starting January 5 to 31, 2022. Here’s a list of GoWiFi hospitals down below:

To use the free service, simply connect to @FreeGoWiFi or @_FreeGoWiFi hotspots using a WiFi enabled device, and start surfing. The service is available to everybody regardless of their network provider. For more details on how and where to utilize the free internet service, visit the official GoWiFi site right here.

Globe has also announced that Molnupiravir, the investigational drug used to prevent the spread of COVID-19 is now officially available on the HealthNow app. Molnupiravir helped cut the rate of hospitalization and death by half in a trial of mild-to-moderately ill patients who had at least one risk factor for the disease, according to reports. COVID-19 positive patients interested in Molnupiravir may consult with a doctor on the HealthNow app to check eligibility. Just use promo code MOLNUCON to get P100 off the Consult Later service.

HealthNow gives users access to healthcare providers for teleconsultation, medicine deliveries, and soon, home-service diagnostics through its app.

KonsultaMD meanwhile is also offering patients a fast-pass service for only PHP 500 per consultation. Customers can talk to a doctor within a waiting time of 5 minutes or they get their money back.

Regular KonsultaMD plans remain as low as P60 per month for individuals, and P150 per month for groups of five.

“Our situation has taken away the reluctance of many Filipinos to try telehealth services. People are looking for ways to stay safe from the virus while our hospitals are overwhelmed with patients. KonsultaMD has become a platform that connects Filipinos to much-needed medical consults for non-emergency cases,” said Cholo Tagaysay, CEO at KonsultaMD.

For more information about these service you may visit the official websites of HealthNow and KonsultaMD.

Lastly, EdVenture, is extending a PHP 500 voucher for any single tutorial session. Just type in the promo code HELLOEDV to avail of the voucher. This is part of the firm’s initiative to help parents with their children’s education especially in the wake of tighter restrictions.
