Globe and Smart have issued a public advisory that they will be temporarily shut down mobile phone services in Manila today, January 9, 2017, as part of security measures during the Black Nazarene procession.
The temporary loss of phone services is in compliance upon the instructions of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). See public advisory below:
