Grab has just announced its newest service named Grab IGIB, offering free water delivery in the area of Marikina.
The service was initiated due to the ongoing water crisis in Metro Manila. The water and delivery are both free of charge. However, there is also an option to buy the water container for the price of PHP 100. Each booking will receive one container of water. Grab has also stated that the water is not potable and not safe for drinking.
To book a Grab IGIB, locate the Grab IGIB option in the Grab App, click on IGIB Today, and enter your location as the drop-off point. The Grab IGIB option is only visible and available on the app to users in the following areas:
- Escopa III
- Escopa IV
- Industrial Valley
- Jesus de La Pena
- Tanong
- Santo Nino
- Concepcion Dos
- Nangka
- Parang
- Marikina Heights
Grab IGIB is only available from March 27-29, 4:00-9:00 PM, or until supplies last.
