More than two weeks after they have rolled GrabShare in beta, Grab has announced that the new service is now officially available to more users.

GrabShare is Grab’s new on-demand carpooling service that allows passengers to enjoy up to 30% lower fares than GrabCar simply by sharing your ride with someone headed in the same direction. In addition, each GrabShare trip will have only one additional drop-off to avoid unnecessary detours.

To book a GrabShare ride, just launch the Grab app, select the GrabShare icon, set your pick-up and drop-off points, then tap ‘Book’.
