Here’s what we know about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch lineup

With Samsung Galaxy Unpacked closer than ever, it’s very much expected that leaks have been circulating around the tech industry. First, it was the Fold and Flip smartphones, now even the Samsung Galaxy Watch devices have not been spared from exposure. Here’s what we’ve seen, courtesy of the industry’s most prominent leakers.

To begin, the base Samsung Galaxy Watch8 is the most simple of the bunch. Like what we expected earlier last month, it features a “squircle” design combining round and rectangular design elements. Based on what we can see, it has two buttons on one side, and a speaker on the other.

Up next is the Galaxy Watch8 Classic, now shown off in this elegant white color. It’s definitely more playful than the base Watch8, making use of the same buttons, but adding a crown at the center. The gear-like finish of the rotating bezel adds some flair to this design, on top of the gold finish on the crown. ‘

Some sources have claimed that this will come in Black and White (as in the photo) colors.

The final boss in this list is the range-topping Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Without a doubt, this is the beefiest spec among the three and will likely come with the highest-end hardware onboard. The same “squircle” design elements have been carried over – albeit with a much thicker shell. This blue and orange color scheme is what we’ve seen so far, but there may possibly be other colors available.

Rumored specifications for all three include Bluetooth 5.3, the Exynos W1000, the Samsung BioActive sensor, and an IP68 water/dust rating. These are also rumored to include wireless charging capabilities (at least for the Classic and Ultra) and will come shipped with WearOS 6.
