HMD’s next modular smartphone could be around the corner, and leaks are already teasing some major upgrades. The HMD Fusion 2 reportedly keeps the same modular concept that made the first model unique but adds a faster 6.58-inch FHD+ 120Hz display and the new Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor for smoother overall performance.

The camera setup also sees a practical improvement, the 108MP main sensor is sticking around, but the secondary lens is now a more versatile 8MP ultra-wide. Other notable features include IP65 water resistance, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, and even a 3.5mm headphone jack.
But the highlight remains its modularity. The Smart Outfits Gen 2 lineup will reportedly include new add-ons like a Gaming Outfit, Wireless Charge Outfit, Camera Grip, and even a Smart Projector Outfit. No launch date yet, but with leaks like these, the Fusion 2 might be gearing up for a reveal soon.
