HONOR unveils the Play 60 series in China

Honor has officially unveiled the Play 60 and Play 60m smartphones in China, succeeding last year’s Play 50 series. Both devices share identical hardware specifications but differ in color options and pricing.

Both models feature a 6.61-inch TFT LCD with a resolution of 1604 × 720 pixels, achieving a peak brightness of 1010 nits. The displays support 10-point multitouch and include eye protection and natural light viewing modes.

The Play 60 and Play 60m are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, the devices come with an octa-core CPU (2×A76 at 2.4GHz + 6×A55 at 2.0GHz) and an ARM G57 MC2 GPU. They run on MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.

The rear camera setup includes a 13MP main sensor (f/1.8) with 10x digital zoom and 1080p video recording capabilities. The front-facing camera is a 5MP sensor (f/2.2), also supporting 1080p recording. Photography features encompass night mode, dual-view video, HDR, time-lapse, and smile capture.

The newest offering from HONOR equips a massive 6000mAh battery, both models support 5V/3A wired charging and offer smart charging modes.  The Play 60 series carry an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

• Honor Play 60:
• 6GB+128GB: 1,199 Yuan  (PHP 9,375.89)
• 8GB+256GB: 1,399 Yuan (PHP 10,939.85)
Available in Ink Rock Black, Jade Dragon Snow, and Xiaoshan Qing.

• Honor Play 60m:
• 6GB+128GB: 1,699 Yuan (PHP 13,285.78)
• 8GB+256GB: 2,199 Yuan (PHP 17,195.66)
• 12GB+256GB: 2,599 Yuan (PHP 20,323.56)
Available in Ink Rock Black, Jade Dragon Snow, and Morning Glow Gold.  With these new additions, Honor continues to offer feature-rich smartphones catering to diverse user preferences.
