The HUAWEI FreeBuds 6 that were unveiled in March have been launched globally as mentioned in a previous report. Its highlights are its AI-powered noise cancellation and its redesigned audio driver for clearer output.

The buds have a droplet-shaped stem, which is 12 percent smaller and 9 percent lighter than its predecessor. As mentioned, it leverages noise reduction technology that can filter up to 95dB of unwanted audio.
The buds offer users an audio-optimized semi-open design tried by over 10,000 testers. These buds come with a four-magnet dynamic unit and dual-drivers providing trebles up to 48kHz and 14Hz of bass. There were improvements to transmission as well, bumping up to 2.3Mbps.
Each bud comes packed with a 39.5mAh battery while the case has 510mAh. This equates to 5.5 hours of listening per bud, totaling to 36 hours with the charging case.
Of course, users may also adjust the experience accordingly via the HUAWEI AI Life app. This includes adjusting the EQ, noise cancellation, and more
Notably, HUAWEI advertised a feature that was first implemented with the FreeBuds Pro 4. This is the ability to have a call with clear audio in a noisy environment like a concert.

In addition, the FreeBuds 6 have an AI agent function available in China. However, this is disabled for international units. The HUAWEI FreeBuds 6 is priced at EUR 159.99 (~PHP 10,000).
We’ll be updating readers for its availability in the Philippines once we have more details as this is a devloping story.
