Huawei laptops available again at Microsoft Online Store

After weeks of pausing the sales of Huawei Laptops, Microsoft resumes the sales of the Chinese company’s devices.

Due to the US-China trade war and the country’s restrictions on the Chinese tech giant, Microsoft paused the selling of Huawei Laptops for a month in their online store.

“We have been evaluating, and will continue to respond to, the many business, technical and regulatory complexities stemming from the recent addition of Huawei to the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Administration Regulations Entity List. As a result, we are resuming the sale of existing inventory of Huawei devices at Microsoft Store,” Microsoft spokesperson to CNBC.

The company also stated that they will still provide software updates to all the Huawei devices due to the devices still delivering Windows revenue to them.

“We remain committed to providing exceptional customer experiences. Our initial evaluation of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s decision on Huawei has indicated we may continue to offer Microsoft software updates to customers with Huawei devices,”

Three Huawei laptops are available for purchase at the Microsoft Online Store at the moment namely Huawei Matebook X Pro, Huawei Matebook D, and Huawei Matebook 13 53010FKM.
