Instagram will finally let users create posts from the desktop. The platform will be rolling out its latest updates on October 21 that include enabling users globally to have the option of posting photos and short videos from their desktop browser.
With this option, sharing a photo or a video (under one minute) on Instagram can now be done entirely via a desktop browser. What’s more, filters, captions, and location tags can also be added to the post.
To recall, in June 2021, the platform is already testing the feature to post photos from a desktop browser.
Moreover, previously, Instagram only allowed users to access their feed through the browser, limited only to messaging and checking updates.
Instagram also revealed to roll out new features across both the Instagram Feed and Reels this week, including collaboration functions, fundraising tips, and other effects for Reels.
