Jackery brings Portable Solar Generators to the Philippines

Listen to article

Jackery, a global maker of portable solar generators, has officially entered the Philippine market. The company is now offering its solar-powered charging products to Filipino consumers, starting with online sales through local gadget retailer Techroom.

Founded in 2012 by a former Apple battery engineer, Jackery specializes in portable power stations and solar panels designed for home backup, outdoor use, and mobile work setups. The brand focuses on battery-powered solutions that work without fuel, noise, or emissions, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Jackery’s products use lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries and a built-in battery management system to help improve safety and battery life. These systems are designed to support everyday devices such as smartphones, laptops, and small appliances during power outages or while traveling.

To mark its local launch, Jackery partnered with Techroom to bring its products to Filipino buyers. The first model available is the Explorer 100 Plus, a compact power station with a 99Wh battery capacity. It can charge multiple devices at the same time and is aimed at users who need portable power for work, travel, or emergencies.

The Explorer 100 Plus is now available through Techroom’s official Shopee and Lazada stores. According to the local distributor, more Jackery products are expected to arrive as the brand expands its presence in the Philippines.
