Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 Unveiled

Lenovo has officially launched the ThinkPad X13 Gen 6, a premium 13.3-inch laptop with Intel Arrow Lake and AMD Ryzen AI PRO processor options.

Announced at MWC 2024 in Barcelona, this ultra-light business laptop is set to hit the US market by June 2025, starting at $1,139 (~PHP 65,200).

One of the biggest changes? The ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 now starts at just 933g (2.05 lbs), significantly lighter than its 1.17kg (2.58 lbs) predecessor. However, this weight reduction comes with a catch—the base model features a 41Wh battery, which is relatively small. For those needing more juice, Lenovo offers a 54.7Wh battery option, though it adds some weight.

Built with a carbon fiber chassis and a magnesium or aluminum cover, this ThinkPad maintains its rugged durability while staying ultra-light.

This business-grade machine sports a 13.3-inch WUXGA display (400 nits, 100% sRGB, Low Blue Light), with a touch option available. It can be configured with up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to a 2TB PCIe SSD.

For connectivity, it supports WiFi 7, optional 5G, and NFC, making it future-proof for high-speed wireless networking.

Ports include:
2 x Thunderbolt 4
1 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A
1 x HDMI 2.1
1 x 3.5mm audio jack
Ethernet

Other features include a 5MP webcam with an IR option for face recognition, a fingerprint reader, Dolby Atmos speakers, Dolby Voice support, and dual microphones.

Intel vs. AMD: Your Choice of AI-Powered Chips

The ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 offers two powerful processor options:

Intel Core Ultra 7 200U / 200H series (Arrow Lake, Intel vPro)
AMD Ryzen AI PRO 300 series (with Radeon 800M graphics)

Pricing & Availability

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 will be available in the US starting June 2025, with a base price of $1,139 (~PHP 65,200).
