LG Electronics started its InnoFest 2026 APAC event in Busan. It runs from April 7 to 10 and shows off new laundry, kitchen, and built-in appliances made just for Asian homes and daily life.

Over 200 partners and media from about 20 Asia-Pacific countries are there. The theme is “Innovation, Forward Together.” Display areas look like homes from popular Korean TV shows to make it feel real.
Laundry Machines
LG added a new 25-inch WashTower for small spaces in Asian homes. It joins the 24-inch and 27-inch sizes. Top-load washers use AI to pick the best wash for clothes and dirt. They finish a full load in under 30 minutes with TurboWash. An auto soap dispenser means less refilling.

The WashCombo washes and dries in one machine using a special heat pump to save power. It tackles high electric bills that worry many in Asia. For businesses, there’s a new washer-dryer combo for heavy use. It proved popular in Korea and will go global soon.
Kitchen Gear
New fridges have a “Fit & Max” look that fits tight against walls without wasting space. They make four kinds of ice: fancy balls, crushed, cubes, and small balls. This fits Asians who use lots of ice every day.

Dishwashers clean and dry dishes in just one hour. They use four strong water sprays with tiny bubbles from all sides. A special drying system pulls out moisture fast. Top models save energy well, even cheaper ones.
For Southeast Asia, LG brings built-in ovens, stoves, and hoods. The star is the Camera Oven. Its inside camera spots food, picks the right cook setting, and watches color to know when it’s done.

Smart Home and Future
People can try LG’s AI Home setup with the ThinQ ON hub. It links appliances and smart devices to work together easily. It’s out in one place now and coming soon to Australia and Thailand.
LG Subscribe lets people rent appliances with full service. It heads to cities in Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam. “Asia is one of our biggest markets. InnoFest lets us team up with partners on our plans ahead,” said Jaeseung Kim, head of LG Asia Pacific.
LG’s InnoFest 2026 APAC in Busan highlights how AI can blend into everyday home life across Asia, making routines more efficient and boosting quality of life through smarter appliances. From washers that auto-adjust for fabrics to ovens spotting ingredients, these tools cut time and effort while fitting local needs like small spaces and high energy costs.
