Microsoft introduces passwordless sign in on Windows 10

In the most recent Windows 10 Insider Preview, Microsoft has introduced a passwordless sign-in for Microsoft accounts on Windows 10 devices.

Microsoft stated that they’re introducing passwordless sign-in for “improved security and a more seamless sign-in experience.” The new sign-in feature will require authentication with Windows Hello Face, fingerprint, or PIN. To use the feature, Windows Insiders can go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options, and select “On” under the “Make your device passwordless” option.

The feature is currently rolling out to only a small portion of Windows Insiders.

I am a Windows Outsider. I mainly use Linux; The only time I use Windows is when I’m on my home-based job. I don’t use a password when I use Windows, but use a PIN.
