Most Popular Apps in PH in 2021 revealed

Data.ai‘s  report State of Mobile 2022 reveals the most popular apps in PH that were used in 2021.

Since the pandemic began, everything went digital and as people are starting to familiarize themselves with the digital space, mobile-first markets have been their phones according to Data.ai.

Facebook and Messenger remain to be the top downloaded app in 2021 followed by Gcash as a Digital Wallet & Payment application. While we see that Facebook, Kumu, and BIGO LIVE remain to be the top spend for consumers thanks to the live streaming and gifting capabilities of the apps.

Across the border for games, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tops Downloads, Consumer Spend, and Monthly Active Users.

Across SEA, Indonesia tops the largest growth of finance apps over the past four years increasing by 185% with cryptocurrency gaining traction creating a lot of buzz for Binance making it a hit among users in the region. Binance is one of the top five most-downloaded finance apps in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
