Multiply is joining the bandwagon by bringing in gray market units of the iPhone 5. The prices are almost the same level as the ones in Greenhills and in other online stores but Multiply is offering a Php3,000 discount to attract more buyers.
The iPhone 5 16GB is selling at Php47,000, the 32GB at Php54,500 and the 64GB at Php58,500. Take Php3,000 of that price and that’s the best you can get. That makes the 16GB at Php44k, the 32Gb at Php51.5k and the 64Gb at Php55.5k.
Multiply also did this with the iPad 3 before it was officially released in the Philippines. It’s their way of attracting more buyers to familiarize themselves with Multiply as an e-commerce platform.
