Filipino gamers can now secure their Nintendo Switch 2 units as pre-orders have officially gone live on the Nintendo Philippines Official Store on Shopee. The standalone console is priced at ₱31,990, while a bundle that includes the highly anticipated Mario Kart World is available for ₱35,500 .
The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch in the Philippines on June 26, 2025, aligning with its release in other Southeast Asian markets like Singapore and Thailand . This marks a significant shift for Nintendo, as it’s the first time the company is rolling out a major console simultaneously across these regions.
The Switch 2 boasts several hardware upgrades over its predecessor. It features a larger 7.9-inch LCD screen with 1080p resolution in handheld mode and supports up to 4K output at 60 frames per second when docked . Under the hood, it’s powered by a custom NVIDIA Tegra T239 processor, complemented by 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of internal storage .
Connectivity options have been enhanced with the inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The console also introduces the new Joy-Con 2 controllers, which attach via magnetic connectors and come equipped with a “C” button to activate the GameChat feature, allowing players to communicate during gameplay .
Mario Kart World, one of the flagship titles launching alongside the Switch 2, introduces an open-world design and supports races with up to 24 players, doubling the capacity of previous entries in the series .
While the Philippine pricing is higher than the U.S. MSRP of $449.99 (approximately ₱25,700), the local price includes taxes and import duties, which contribute to the increased cost .
Pre-orders are also available through authorized retailers like GameXtreme and DataBlitz, with some requiring a down payment of ₱5,000 to secure a unit .
In addition to the console launch, Nintendo is set to introduce the Nintendo eShop in the Philippines, providing gamers with a convenient platform for digital game purchases and downloads .
With these developments, Filipino gamers are poised to experience Nintendo’s next-generation gaming console without the delays that have historically affected the region.

Where did you get the 3K? If you import a 450USD item the custom duties for that price usually will be around 6k+.

that’s overpriced, 450$ is around 25k+~ when converting to 56 pesos per USD which is higher that what it is in the last few weeks at 55.xx, with vat it should be between 28-29k+ it’s little over priced. the price is already bad as it is and they raised it even more? no thank you
