Nubia Z80 Ultra unveiled

Nubia has officially unveiled the Z80 Ultra, its latest flagship smartphone, boasting serious upgrades across performance, battery, and camera hardware. Headlining the specs is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Powering the device is a massive 7,200mAh silicon-carbon battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging support.

Up front, the Z80 Ultra packs a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The under-display 16MP selfie camera ensures a distraction-free viewing experience. On the back, Nubia brings a custom 35mm main camera using the Omnivision 990 sensor, alongside a 64MP periscope with 3x optical zoom and an 18mm ultrawide lens.

The phone launches in China first, with a global debut set for November 6. Pricing starts at CNY 4,999 ( PHP 41,095 ).
