NVIDIA announces CPM HX mining GPUs

NVIDIA has announced its Cryptocurrency Mining Processor (CMP) HX product line of GPUs for professional Ethereum mining.

NVIDIA said that they released the NVIDIA CMP product line to address the specific needs of Etherium mining. These products don’t do graphics and are optimized for the best mining performance and efficiency. It lacks display outputs, enabling improved airflow while mining so they can be more densely packed.

CMPs also have a lower peak core voltage and frequency, which improves mining power efficiency. And since CMPs don’t meet the specifications required of a GeForce GPU, it won’t impact the availability of GeForce GPUs to gamers.

NVIDIA CMPs come in four models: 30HX, 40HX, 50HX, and 90HX. Check out their specs and availability below.

NVIDIA CMPs will be available from authorized partners, including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, and PC Partner.
