NVIDIA outs Quadro P5000 and P6000 graphics cards

In this year’s SIGGRAPH conference, NVIDIA launched two new Quadro Pascal graphics cards for professional use — the P5000 and P6000. The latter stands to be the flagship entry which boasts 3,840 CUDA cores and 12TFlops of computing muscle.

According to NVIDIA, the new Quadro Pascal platform is their “most powerful GPU architecture ever” and brings with it a new level of performance for a wide range of applications. Apart from the P6000 having double the memory than the Titan X, it could also be effectively used for heavy VR work.

NVIDIA is reported to ship both cards in October with no news on how much they will be priced.
