One SKY fiber-powered broadband offers 100Mbps for Php2,899

Customers may now subscribe to One Sky fiber-powered broadband plans with speeds as high as 100Mbps for Php2,899 per month (with 300GB data allowance).

There are other plans such as 50Mbps for Php2,899 per month with unlimited data allowance but costumers may opt for Php1,899 per month which will limit data allowance by 200GB. Other plans include: 25Mbps (Php1,899/month unlimited plan; Php1,599/month with 150GB data allowance), and 10Mbps (Php1,299/month with 100GB data allowance). All plans come with SKY On Demand.

One SKY subscribers who are also subscribed to SKYcable or Destiny Cable plans (with HBO) can also subscribe to HBO GO for Php150 per month. Or they can subscribe to Netflix for Php370 per month that will be charged via their SKY bill.

Select One SKY fiber-powered broadband plans are available in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Baguio, Bacolod, Cebu, Davao, Dumaguete, General Santos and Iloilo.

What they don’t tell you is that the advertised speed is download speed. They have slow upload speed. We got the unlimited one sky 25mps at home and download speed averages from 19 to 23 Mbps while the download speed averages at 0.5 to 1 mbps only. Such a downer.

just to be clear, sky broadband is not “FIBER connection” it is “FIBER POWERED” .. it doesnt run on fiber optic. and it is still the same cable internet.

Globe’s 100Mbps for P2499 is a much better offer with 1000GB data cap, almost 4x more than this plan of Sky for P400 less per month.

First things first; before bandwidth, Sky needs to deal with their service/network stability. If you’re following them on Twitter, there is not a day that you won’t find infuriated customers from various locations.
