OnePlus Ace 3 Pro now official

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is now official, and is the newest addition to OnePlus’ Ace series of smartphones.

The phone features a 6.78-inch curved FHD+ 8T LTPO OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate up to 120Hz. Powering the Ace 3 Pro is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with interesting storage configurations.

Users can configure the device to have up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

For shooters, the phone is equipped with triple-rear cameras. These consist of a 50-megapixel main with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel macro.

This device is also the first recipient of OnePlus’ new Glacier Battery technology. Aside from packing a massive 6,100mAh battery, the Ace 3 Pro has an updated cooling system.

The phone features a 9126mm² VC heat dissipation area. OnePlus claims that this makes for 36% improved cooling. Further, it also delivers 70% improved thermal conductivity.

It’s no slouch for charging either, as it supports 100W of SUPERVOOC fast wired charging. OnePlus guarantees battery health retention up to 80% of its original capacity after four years.

Presently, it’s marketed to charge from 0% to full in just 36 minutes. Other features include an IP65 rating, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro comes in Porcelain White, Green Field, and Titanium Silver colors. Prices for the device start at CNY 3,199 (~PHP 26,000) with 12GB/256GB. The highest configuration with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage is also available for CNY 4,399 (~PHP 36,000).

Open sales in China begin on July 3rd, 2024. We’ll update readers on whether the Ace 3 Pro will be landing on Philippine shores as soon as we can.
