OnePlus Ace 5, Ace 5 Pro now official

OnePlus has announced the OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in China both rocking flagship chipsets from Qualcomm.

The Pro variant boasts the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite, throws in a dedicated gaming Wi-Fi chip called “G1”, and a VC cooling system.

While the vanilla Ace 5 doesn’t come with the said Wi-Fi chip nor a cooling system, it does run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

For the most part, both phones are similar on paper. Both feature 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screens, triple rear cameras, and IP65 rating.

Price and availability

Prices start at CNY 3,399 and CNY 2,299 for the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro and Ace 5, respectively.

The regular variant is now on sale in China via OPPO’s online store. As for the Pro version, it will become available starting December 31st.

Previously, a report claimed that the OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to go global as the OnePlus 13R 54.
