Hot on the heels of the OPPO A3 Pro 17 launch, the brand throws two new budget 5G options into the mix: the OPPO A1s and A1i. Both phones run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chipset, but that’s where the similarities start to diverge.

The A1s looks suspiciously familiar. Its design and specs bear a striking resemblance to last year’s OPPO A79 5G, suggesting it might be a rebranded version for the Chinese market. One could only wonder why OPPO is releasing a Chinese variant of a phone nearly a year after its global rollout.
