OPPO A72 5G, now official

OPPO has recently released the 5G variant of the A72.

Compared to its 4G sibling, the OPPO A72 5G is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 720 chipset that brings 5G connectivity to mid-range smartphones. It is mated with an 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Although both models have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display, the A72 5G has a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Upfront, it has an 8MP front camera. On its rear are triple rear cameras consisting of a 16MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP depth sensors. Onboard is a 4,040 mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging. Other feature includes Dirac 2.0 audio tuner, 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted scanner.
