OPPO has introduced its 5G Customer-Premises Equipment (CPE) during its INNO day presentation.

Powering the OPPO 5G CPE is Snapdragon’s X55 5G Modem-RF System, which can go up to 7.5Gbps and has native support for both 5G mmWave and sub-6 GHz as well as legacy connectivity such as 3G and 2G.

It also has support for Bluetooth, ZigBee, and Zwave communication protocols, as well as built-in network features like 5G Network Management Center, Intelligent Key Management, Intelligent Network Switching, and Multiple Security Checks.

Official pricing and availability of the OPPO 5G CPE are yet to be announced; however, OPPO did promise to bring the product to market in the first quarter of 2020.
