After numerous speculations and rumors, OPPO‘s latest R-series device is finally here. Meet the OPPO R17, an elegant looking device with a sexy water drop notch.
The OPPO R17 looks very much like the F9 and F9 Pro up front thanks to its slim water drop notch. What they differ in though is in design. The new R-series device sports an elegant blue or purple color mix with different gradients. Almost similar to the color schemes we saw with the Find X and the recent Honor and Huawei phones.
As for internals, the device is rocking a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, Color OS 5.1 based on Android 8.1, and a 3,450mAh battery with VOOC.
As for cameras, we have a 25MP f/2.0 aperture front shooter. The rear duo’s specs are yet to be revealed.
The OPPO R17 is currently listed at CNY 99,999PHP 806,082USD 13,740INR 1,164,268EUR 13,080 (~Php 775,795USD 13,220INR 1,120,713EUR 12,591CNY 96,276) but this is obviously a dummy price. The phone will be launched on August 18 along with a flash sale and its official pricing.
