The OPPO Watch X is now official, with similarities to the OnePlus Watch 2 released at MWC 2024.
The Watch X has a dual operating system, with Google WearOS 4 behind complex tasks. Meanwhile, another real-time OS handles other matters inclusive of activity and health tracking.
It sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 60Hz refresh rate, and a 500mAh battery.
OPPO claims this should have a lifespan of a hundred hours regularly and almost two weeks in power saving mode. It also features VOOC flash charging, which promises power lasting up to a day in just 10 minutes of charging. Additionally, it charges to full from 0% in an hour.
It’s powered by a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset and another BES 2700BP processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. As for other features, the watch has dual-band GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC support.
OPPO’s new wearable also has an IP68 rating, passing with 5ATM waterproof and 16 MIL-STD-810H durability tests.
The Watch X comes in Platinum Black and Mars Brown colors. Pricing is set at MYR 1,399 (PHP 16,502.86), as we expect to see the release in more markets. We’ll be sure to let you know of its availability in the Philippines very soon.
