Rumors about a newer version of the PlayStation 5, dubbed as the ‘PS5 Slim’, has surfaced online.

The first images leaked of the rumored PS5 slim first appeared in a Chinese forum recently. Now, a video showing off the plastic case of the rumored future model 13 is circulating all over X, formerly known as Twitter, garnering a lot of attention. The widely spread video gives us a closer look at the alleged variant of the console.

It would seem that not only is the console is indeed slimmer, but it might also feature some sort of detachable disk drive. The newer PS5 also seems to sport two USB-C ports on the front of the console.

Sony has yet to release any official information regarding any newer variant of the PS5.
