POCO M8s 5G now official, priced and specs in PH

POCO has officially launched the POCO M8s 5G, bringing a battery-focused midrange smartphone to the Philippines with early-bird pricing and online-exclusive availability.

The device is positioned as a practical upgrade for budget users, with its biggest highlight being a massive 7,000mAh battery, one of the largest in its segment paired with a 144Hz display and 5G connectivity.

In the Philippines, the POCO M8s 5G is available in two configurations: 6GB/128GB priced at ₱11,999 and 8GB/256GB at ₱13,999. During the early-bird promo until April 30, prices drop to as low as ₱10,699 and ₱12,539, respectively, thanks to discounts of up to ₱960.

The first wave of units is available exclusively via Shopee →, with Lazada rollout expected shortly after.

At the core of the device is a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, built on a 6nm process, aimed at delivering reliable day-to-day performance. The phone runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 and includes AI-powered tools like Google Gemini and Circle to Search.

Battery life is a major selling point. POCO claims the 7,000mAh capacity can last up to two days on a single charge, with support for 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging.

Up front, the device features a large 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. It also carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye protection and supports wet touch input.

For photography, the phone includes a 50MP main camera and an 8MP front shooter, with basic AI editing tools built in. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP64 dust and splash resistance, NFC, and stereo audio with Dolby Atmos support.
