realme 12 Pro+ 5G now official: Snapdragon 7s Gen2, 64MP periscope camera, IP65

Alongside the realme 12 Pro 5G 32, its Plus variant, the realme 12 Pro+ 5G has also gone official. Boasting an elegant luxury watch-inspired design, it features a more powerful chipset and even more capable camera system.

Powering the realme 12 Pro+ 5G is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 combined with up to 24GB Dynamic RAM and 256GB storage.

At the rear, the circular camera island outlined with golden fluted bezels houses a 64-megapixel periscope camera that reaches 3x optical zoom and 120x ‘SuperZoom’ with OIS support. Completing the setup is a 50-megapixel Sony primary camera with OIS as well and an 8-megapixel ultrawide. Meanwhile, the front sees a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.

This variant also has a stronger build. Its 6.7-inch curved OLED display adds a layer of 0.55mm double-reinforced glass. It also gets an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance.

Battery-wise, it packs the usual 5000mAh cell coupled with 67W wired charging, and it comes in an additional stunning Explorer Red color option.

The realme 12 Pro+ 5G is currently launched for India, starting at INR 29,999 (~PHP 20K) for the 8GB+128GB trim. The 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB configurations are priced at INR 31,999 (~PHP 21.7K) and INR 33,999 (~PHP 23K), respectively.
