Realme has confirmed the launch of its GT 8 series this October. The GT 8 Pro is expected to feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, along with a redesigned chassis and upgraded camera system.

Rumored specifications include a 6.85-inch 2K OLED display with AR anti-glare coating, a 7,000mAh+ battery with 100W fast charging, and a metal middle frame. The device may also include a 200MP periscope telephoto camera and a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
This follows the release of the Realme GT 7 series in May 2025. The GT 7 was powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e and featured a 7,000mAh silicon anode battery. It came with IceSense Graphene cooling and a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with 6000 nits peak brightness and 2600Hz touch response rate.
The GT 7 had a triple rear camera setup: 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor with OIS, 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Other features included IP69 water resistance, bypass charging, and a SignalCatcher chip for improved connectivity. The GT 7 Dream Edition featured Aston Martin-inspired design elements and came in a signature green color.
In the Philippines, the GT 7 was priced at PHP 37,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant and PHP 39,999 for the 16GB+512GB Dream Edition.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for official specs and local pricing as the October launch approaches.
