Xiaomi has started teasing its next midrange smartphone, the Redmi Note 15 5G, and early details suggest a big focus on the display. A newly spotted microsite confirms that the phone will feature a large 6.77-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, making scrolling and gaming feel smooth. It also supports Hydro Touch 2.0, meaning the screen remains responsive even with wet fingers.
One of the biggest highlights is its 3200 nits peak brightness, a level usually seen on flagship phones. Xiaomi has also added TÜV Triple Eye Care certification to help reduce eye strain during long use. While not officially stated, the display is expected to have an FHD+ resolution.
The Redmi Note 15 5G is tipped to launch in India on January 6, 2026. It is rumored to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and pack a 5,520mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Pricing is expected to start at Rs. 22,999 ( PHP 15,077.27 ).
