RF Online returns to the Philippines

Time to relive old memories and feel the nostalgia as one of the Philippine’s most iconic MMORPG’s return. RF Online is opening its doors to pinoy gamers once more under the Playpark banner. The sci-fi MMO is set to have its closed beta testing (CBT) phase next month.

RF Online, or Rising Force as it was called, was first released 10 years ago and is focused heavily on player vs player (PVP) gameplay. In the game, players are given the choice of joining one of three races — The Accretian Empire, the Holy Alliance Cora, and the Bellato Union. These three races are in constant war with each other as they vie for control over resources.Players will still experience the normal gameplay of MMORPGs in that there are quests and an open world, the only difference here is that most of the world’s areas have an open player killing (PK) rule, which means at any given time you may encounter and fight an enemy player belonging to another race.

RF Online definitely caters more to players that love competition and teamwork but that doesn’t mean a casual player can no longer enjoy it, from experience games like these will most probably have a healthy and helpful community. Do take note that you do not have to be a returning player to enjoy the game as I’m sure it’ll be friendly to both old and new players alike. Are you excited about RF Online’s return?
