After the battery issues the Galaxy Note7 faced, Samsung Philippines has announced the Galaxy Note7 Replacement Program here in the country where they will replace all Note7 units bought via authorized dealers and operators in the Philippines on or before September 7, 2016 with brand new phones of the same model or a Galaxy S7 Edge.

Starting October 1, 2016, device owners may replace their current unit at the store where they originally purchased their smartphone. Owners will simply need to bring the Galaxy Note7, the full box, proof of purchase, and one (1) valid ID.
Additionally, Samsung PH is also giving Note7 users an option to swap it into a Galaxy S7 Edge starting September 10. Take note that there is a price difference between these two devices so the company will reimburse the owner.
For those who purchased the Note7 through Globe or Smart, owners may communicate with them and have their devices replaced or exchanged.
