Samsung is set to launch a new addition to its 2023 A-series lineup anytime soon, specifically its lower-end A2x line. But even before that model is launched, we now already know what to expect.
German website WinFuture has shared several renders of the Samsung Galaxy A24 as well as its key specifications.
Starting with the display, the model is expected to have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 resolution) Super AMOLED display with 90 hertz refresh rate.
Just like its sibling, the Galaxy A34, it utilizes a dew drop notch housing the 13-megapixel selfie camera.
Underneath is a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset configured with 4GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.
The back protrudes three cameras with a 50-megapixel main lens, 5-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel macro.
The Galaxy A24’s camera department finally confirms that Samsung had truly ditched the depth sensor in its 2023 Galaxy A-series lineup.
Going back, its battery is rated at 5000mAh with 25 watts charging rate and is running on Android 12. Based on the renders, the colorways will be lime green, black, and an iridescent one.
Regarding the price, it is said to retail at EUR 200 which is ~PHP 12,330 in today’s conversion. Comparing it to the Galaxy A23 which has a suggested retail price of PHP 13,990, we should expect its successor to have the same price point.
