A new social media platform called ZOOP is set to launch globally this April.

ZOOP uses a channel-based system where content is organized around specific events, communities or cultural topics instead of algorithm-driven feeds.
The company says this approach offers a more focused and interactive experience.
ZOOP will debut with a dedicated channel for the Eurovision Song Contest Asia. Users can then follow artists, access behind-the-scenes content, participate in voting and earn rewards.
The platform also highlights its creator-focused model which offers up to 80% revenue share and rewarding active fan participation.
ZOOP says nearly one million users have already joined its early access programs ahead of the global rollout. The platform will officially launch on April 9.
