Sony has announced a new 4K Handycam called FDR-AX43. It comes with a Balanced Optical SteadyShot with an inbuilt-gimbal mechanism.
The FDR-AX43 features a 1/2.5-type Exmore R CMOS image sensor and a BIONZ X image processing engine. Alongside it, the Handycam also comes with ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T zoom lens with an angle of 26.8mm, has 20x optical zoom, a clear image zoom of 30x in 4K and 40x for HD, 100Mbps shooting for XAVC S 4K and 50Mbps shooting for XAVC S HD, and fast intelligent AF. The device also has a microphone structure with three mic capsules, a flip screen for selfie shooting, a highlight movie maker, and a battery life that has up to 235mins of continuous recording time.
