TCL Electronics just celebrated 25 years in the Philippines with the 2025 TCL Grand Launch held at Okada Manila. The event had the theme of “Legendary Moment, Timeless Greatness”, which highlighted the company’s journey, milestones, and vision moving forward.

TCL is now recognized as the Triple Global Tio 1 TV Brand for 2024 in Google TV, Mini-LED, and ultra-large screen TVs (85-inches and above) by OMDIA. Even with 25 years in the country, TCL is still working on developing further by offering accessible, smart, and efficient products in Filipino households.
The company highlighted how their products have helped improve life for Filipinos in different areas ranging from entertainment to home care. Their portfolio of products includes air conditioners, energy-saving washing machines, and smart TVs. These products have since become common in many homes nationwide.

The program was opened by Griffin Zhang, General Manager of TCL Asia Pacific. He thanked the brand’s partners for their growth in the country and noted that TCL leads local sales in TVs and air conditioners. In addition, the company has been gaining momentum in sales for refrigerators and washing machines.

Meanwhile, CEO of TCL Philippines Peter Chen emphasized that the brand’s focus is with innovation, design, and creating meaningful tech experiences. He shared that the company is aiming to go beyond trends, pushing boundaries through sustainable and user-friendly technologies.
The event also saw the reveal of TCL’s 2025 product lineup, including:
- X11K QD-MiniLED TV
- FreshIn 3.0 Air Conditioner
- SuperDrum Combo+ C682 Washer and Dryer
- Bottom-Mounted AAT Inverter+ C4336BMSB Refrigerator

TCL’s announcement of their extended partnership with the International Olympic Committee until 2032 was another key moment. The company is set to provide products for Olympic villages and improve fan experiences worldwide.
Deputy Director of Marketing Shae Yu said that the partnership connects TCL’s goals with the Olympic spirit of excellence and progress. She also added that the company hopes to bring innovation into everyday homes while committing to sustainability.
To celebrate this, Olympic pole vaulter EJ Obiena joined the event and spoke about sharing values of determination and improvement between athletes and tech innovators. Obiena’s No 4. in the world in the sport and is the current Asian record holder.

TCL also introduced new brand partners—actress Rhian Ramos and comedienne Valeen Montenegro. Both shared their excitement about representing a brand focusing on smart, accessible technology.
Valeen also added that her favorite product is the TCL QD MiniLED TV. She said that it turned her home into a great hangout spot. Meanwhile, Rhian commended the FreshIn 3.0 air conditioner for its voice control features and energy efficiency.

The night concluded with a toast led by Cyd Montebon and Wesley Yang of TCL Philippines. They thanked supporters and partners for the brand’s 25-year journey, promising to continue offering technology that improves everyday life for Filipinos. TCL is ready to move forward, aiming to be part of more Filipino homes through practical, stylish, and innovative products.
