TCL unveiled the Note A1 tablet

TCL has unveiled the Note A1 tablet, designed for users who want a more natural writing and reading feel without ditching color displays. Instead of E Ink, it uses the company’s NxtPaper technology, an 11.5-inch anti-glare LCD with a matte finish to mimic real paper while reducing blue light and screen flicker. This makes it ideal for long study or work sessions.

The Note A1 supports a stylus with dual tips and an eraser, offering low-latency input for writing, sketching, and digital art. TCL is also pushing AI integration, with features like handwriting-to-text conversion, note summarization, voice transcription, and smart search. It also comes with an 8-microphone array for clearer audio during meetings or classes, plus cloud syncing via Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive.

Other features include a fingerprint sensor, wireless casting support, and magnetic pogo pins for an optional keyboard. Full specs like processor and RAM are still under wraps, but the device is confirmed to run Android. The TCL Note A1 will launch first via Kickstarter, starting at $419 ( PHP 24,631.96 ).
