The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7, and SE versions have all been leaked

We’re barely a few weeks away from the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, where the stars of the show are slated to be the upcoming iterations of the Korean tech giant’s popular foldables. As expected, leaks regarding these have been making the rounds on social media via some pretty reputable sources – and we’ve written this to share some of them with you.

Firstly, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is projected to be the slimmest foldable from the brand, ever. They showed off some of their tech with the unexpected yet welcome Galaxy Z Fold6 SE, which was likely meant to shatter any doubts about Samsung’s capability to create a thin foldable device. There is a high chance that the Z Fold7 will be equipped with an 8.2-inch inner display, and a 6.5-inch outer display making it more suitable for folded use than ever before.

A Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset is almost guaranteed to run the show from behind the scenes, with other notable specs including a 200-megapixel main shooter and vapor chamber cooling technologies.

On the Flip side of things, the Flip7 is set to receive even more obvious cosmetic changes than its Fold counterpart. The outer display will likely be boosted to a full 4-inch size, compared to the predecessor’s 3.4 inches. This will give the Flip7 a borderless look, making the camera cutouts appear to be floating on the outer display. Speaking of cameras, these will likely be 50 and 12-megapixel shooters.

The Flip7 is rumored to be the device wherein the latest in-house Exynos 2500 chipset will be making its debut. Other tech leakers have pointed towards thermals as the reason – since the Flip7 is a relatively tiny device, the 8 Elite may have possibly run too hot under load.

The final piece of the Unpacked puzzle (on the smartphone side, at least) is the Z Flip7 FE. This is pegged to be the affordable alternative to the Z Flip7, without sacrificing too much on the spec side. Much like most of Samsung’s other FE devices, it’s the same philosophy of “modern internals in last generation’s shell.”

As such, the current leaks of the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE point towards it looking exactly like the outgoing Z Flip6.

Common between all of these devices is the likely debut of the speedy One UI 8.0 interface.
